None of us can know how close Dad is to leaving us, but about an hour ago they called a code on him. He is still hanging on, but barring some event none of the doctors or nurses can fathom we are now standing as sentries to his passing in the coming hours. We appreciate the prayers many of you have offered to this point and hope that now that you know with a bit more specificity what is happening you can offer whatever prayer you feel is appropriate.
